NEWTON, Mass. (WCVB/CNN) - One woman's enthusiasm for the iPhone 5 ultimately led to her getting hit with a stun gun.

It happened at a mall in New Hampshire. Police say they had to use the weapon to restrain the woman, who was trying to buy too many iPhones.

Xiaojie Li was embarrassed and sobbing as her 12-year-old daughter translated from Chinese.

"So my mom says she don't know why they called police because she doesn't understand what they are talking about," said her daughter, Jiao Jay.

Video posted on YouTube doesn't show how it started.

At the Pheasant Lane Mall outside the Apple store, the video shows Xiaojie already on the floor.

Two police officers are on top of her, and you can hear the electric crackle of the taser gun as she screams.

Watching the video for the first time, she becomes hysterical.

"My mom went to the Apple store to pick up the iPhones, and they said two iPhones per person," said Jiao.

Xiaojie says last Friday she bought two iPhones and was told that was the limit. When she took video of others she claimed were buying more, the store manager asked her to leave.

So Xiaojie ordered two more online and went back.

Police say the store had issued a stay-away order.

"So then the police took my mom's phone and tried to take my mom's bag. And my mom tried to ask them why, and they just throw her on the ground," said Jiao.

After tasering and handcuffing her, the 44-year-old mother of two was charged with trespassing and resisting arrest.

Red welts are on her wrists and body to show for it.

"So my mom is really upset about what they did and so it's a free country and she just took a picture of what she think they did wrong," said Jiao.
