JUNO BEACH, Fla. (WPBF/CNN) - Two sea turtles are getting a second shot at life.
Ellie and Donovan were released back into the ocean today, thanks to Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach, Florida.
The turtles were found stranded in Cape Cod suffering from hypothermia and were transferred to the center on December 7 to be nursed back to health
"They are in really good shape. They're eating a lot and gaining a lot of weight. So they clearly are feeling better than they were up in Cape Cod," said Dr. Charles Manire.
Donovan is now fitted with a GPS unit which will track the turtle's location every other day.
