(CNN) - Laura Bush has voiced support for same sex marriage but she doesn't want to be used in an ad campaign.

The former first lady has asked the Respect for Marriage Coalition to take her out of their television ad, according to her spokeswoman.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney, former Secretary of State Colin Powell are also seen in the ad voicing their support for same-sex marriage rights.

A clip from President Barack Obama's second inaugural address in January is also included.
