BLOOMINGDALE, Fla. (WTSP) - Ask neighbors who live anywhere around 27-year-old Frank Zuniga's Bloomingdale home, and you'll hear similar stories.
"I've seen him watching me out of his bedroom window towards my swimming pool," said Amy Boyer who lives with her 10-year-old daughter next door. "I've seen him come to my house before and he's tried to look up my skirt when I answered the door."
Boyer says she feels like a prisoner in her own home because of who she describes as "the creepy" neighbor.
"Everybody stayed away from him," says Boyer of others down her street. "Everyone knew he was basically a pervert and to keep you kids away from him."
Boyer says Thursday's arrest only confirms her fears. Zuniga was charged with battery and false imprisonment after an 18-year-old victim say she was attacked on the Nature's Way jogging trail while running with a friend.
"He stood in front of her like a football linebacker, grabbing her by the arm," said Larry McKinnon of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office after the arrest.
The two teens called 911 after the suspect took off in a white pick-up truck covered in Bucs logos. 10 News found a vehicle matching that same description Thursday, parked in the suspect's front driveway.
"It's really scary especially because it's right beside my house," says Boyer.
The teenage victim was too shaken up to speak on camera, but her father is concerned to learn Zuniga's bond is only set at $3,000.
"You just never know. You never know who could be lurking next door," says the suspect's neighbor. "You never know what they're up to. It could be anybody."
