CLAY COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI/CNN) - A worker at an exotic feline rescue center was attacked by a tiger Friday.
The tiger was put in a holding area to be cleaned, but the door didn't close, and the tiger went straight for the woman's head.
The other workers distracted the tiger with meat to get it away.
"We were able to get there fairly quickly. We were able to get the tiger off of her and the tiger into a confined area where it was locked up," said Joe Taft, rescue center director.
The woman is expected to make a full recovery.
