SANTA FE, N.M. (KOB) - The search for a missing U.S. Forest Service firefighter in New Mexico's Jemez Mountains continues.
Token Adams disappeared Friday after going out on an ATV to size up a wildfire's perimeter.
For more than 250 search and rescue crew members, this holiday weekend was spent scouring rough terrain for any sign of their lost colleague.
The terrain itself is tough enough. It's wooded, it's mountainous, and there are steep cliffs. To make matters worse, the weather severely hampered all search efforts.
