(WMGM) - After two years of searching for their stolen valuables, the Mastro family had given up all hope that they would ever find their wedding rings. But a good friend, with an important job, saw one clue and managed to reunite them with some of the missing pieces.
"It was an awful, awful day, and those images are always very vivid at the moment unfortunately," Carrie Mastro said.
Nov. 11th, 2011 is a day that Mastro says she will never forget.
"Obviously when your house gets broken in to, you have the loss of the material goods that bother you, but most of all you have the violation of your home being broken in to," she said.
Especially when her daughter and her neighbor's daughter were the first ones to enter the house.
"They ran upstairs to get changed and they are telling me that at the front door there is wood all over the ground," she said.
