Jennings, MO (KSDK) - The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has charged a 21-year-old man in connection with a double murder that occurred earlier this month.
According to Officer Rick Eckhard, a spokesman for the St. Louis County Police Department, police were called to the 2200 block of Lexa Drive on Saturday, April around 9:30 p.m. in response to a shooting. They found two gunshot victims, one of whom was already dead.
The deceased victim was identified as 21-year-old Andre Simms. The second victim, 25-year-old Elroy Ragland, was rushed to a local hospital where he later died.
The suspect, Angelo Jackson, was charged with two counts of first-degree murder, one count of first-degree burglary and three counts of armed criminal action.
