The Humane Society fo Missouri said the breeder repeatedly failed inspections by the Missouri Department of Agriculture. The breeder was accused of being unable to meet the requirements of the Canine Cruelty Prevention Act for kennel space, flooring and unfettered access to the outside.
The dogs will be cared for at the Humane Society of Missouri Headquarters. One of the dogs is blind and several others appear to have eye problems and matted coats, according to the Humane Society.
When the dogs are healthy, they may be available for adoption.
