St. Louis (KSDK) - It is a donation the members of the Missouri Area Goodwill say they likely won't ever forget.

A manager at the retail location on 10570 Baptist Church Road in South County found what is being called one of largest 'accidental donations' at a St. Louis area Goodwill.

Now, workers are searching with the man, woman or family who left $14,505 in a boxed donation earlier this week.

Goodwill representatives sent a statement sent to NewsChannel 5 Thursday afternoon:

"Goodwill would like the donor to come forward as it is believed the money was donated unknowingly. The donor should call Goodwill at (314) 982-8802. The donor was driving a green Ford F150 truck and visited the donation drop-off site at approximately 3 p.m."
