St. Louis (KSDK) -- 14 deaths are now being blamed on the heat in and around St. Louis.
The latest confirmed heat-related death is that of a 93 year old woman in University City.
The St. Louis County Health Department says she was found on Saturday. Her body temperature was 103 degrees. The outdoor temperature at the time was 104.
Authorities say the window air conditioner in the brick home was working properly but was set at 95 degrees.
The medical examiner's office says the woman lived alone but was cared for by relatives.
This is St. Louis County's second confirmed heat death. The city of St. Louis reports 10 confirmed heat deaths. One person has also died in Troy, Illinois. Another person died in Collinsville, Illinois.
