KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - First-term Congressman Billy Long of Springfield has defeated two challengers in the Republican primary for Missouri's 7th District.

Unofficial results Tuesday night show Long topping Mike Moon of Springfield and Tom Stilson of Ozark.

Long faces Democrat Lee Evans of Republic and Libertarian Kevin Craig of Powersite in the November general election. Both men were unopposed in their party primaries.

Long is a former auctioneer and radio host who won election in November 2010 to a seat vacated when Roy Blunt was elected to the U.S. Senate.
