Four more area Red Cross workers deployed for Isaac relief

St. Louis (KSDK) - Four more Red Cross volunteers from the Greater St. Louis Region have been deployed to assist with Hurricane Isaac relief.

Diane Trowbridge of St. Louis; Craig Fleming of Fairview Heights, Illinois; Steve Stacey of Jefferson City, Missouri; and Barbara Gill of Flora, Illinois will perform disaster assessment duties and health services. They will be based in Louisiana.

Thirty other volunteers from the area have already deployed, 21 from Missouri and 12 from Illinois.

There are more than 2,700 trained Red Cross disaster workers deployed to affected areas, and around 190 Red Cross emergency response vehicles have been activated.
