St. Louis (KSDK) - The University of Missouri-St. Louis has been given a $750,000 gift from Peabody Energy to renovate two science labs.

The gift was announced Tuesday, and will create the Peabody Environmental Engineering Laboratory and the Peabody Physics Laboratory in Benton Hall and Stadler Hall.

The gift is last of UMSL's Gateway for Greatness Campaign, which was a seven year effort that raised more than $154 million in private funding.
