Columbia, MO (KSDK) - Freshmen Mizzou football players Dorial Green-Beckham, Torey Boozer and Levi Copelin are suspended for Saturday's game against Vanderbilt after being arrested for alleged drug possession.
KOMU-TV in Columbia, Missouri is reporting police arrested the trio for marijuana possession.
Chad Moller, Assistant Athletic Director for the University of Missouri, released the following statement to the media: "We're aware of the incident and have addressed it. All individuals involved have been immediately suspended from the program for one game. All other disciplinary measures will be handled internally, and there will be no further comment."
Two additional Mizzou football players, freshmen Harold Brantley and Brandon Holifield, have also been suspended for a game. They were not arrested but were involved in Wednesday night's incident.
Dorial Green-Beckham has 7 catches on the year for 128 yards and touchdown. He caught his first touchdown pass last week as the Mizzou Tigers defeated UCF, 21-16.
