Brittany Borman honored for reaching London Olympics

St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - Jefferson College will honor a local Summer Olympian for her athletic achievements.

Festus High School graduate Brittany Borman claimed the 2012 USA Olympic Trials Championship in the javelin event and set a national record in javelin for women in the U.S.

Borman will be recognized for her success Saturday, October 27, at 1:00 p.m. in the Field House at Jefferson College's Hillsboro campus.

The public is invited to meet Borman and celebrate her accomplishments.

Borman is a three-time NCAA Champion javelin competitor. As a University of Oklahoma athlete, she yearly won NCAA All-American Recognition and set school records.
