President Obama still leads Mitt Romney in states that will decide the election, but his advantage has shrunk since last week's debate.

Obama is up in Ohio, Florida, Virginia, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, but by smaller margins than in previous surveys.

And Romney now has one-point leads -- well within the margin of error -- in separate polls taken in Virginia and Colorado.

The president still holds a healthy lead in Pennsylvania -- 50%-42% -- but the poll by the Philadelphia Inquirer also says voters in that state believe Romney topped Obama in their Oct. 3 debate.

The numbers from the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist swing state poll:

Ohio: Obama 51%, Romney 45%
Florida: Obama 48%, Romney 47%
Virginia: Romney 48%, Obama 47%

But polls are polls; the New York Times/CBS/Quinnipiac University swing state survey also included Virginia, and it gives Obama the lead there, 51%-46%.

The latest Times/CBS/Quinnipiac poll also featured Wisconsin, where Obama has a 50%-47% lead, and Colorado, where Romney leads by 48%-47%.
