Metro to reroute buses Sunday morning for marathon road closures

St. Louis (KSDK) - MetroBus will be rerouting some buses Sunday morning to accommodate the TASK Rock 'n Roll Marathon and ½ Marathon.

The second annual event will shut down several roads in downtown, midtown, Tower Grove area and some roads in between.

The Grand MetroLink station will be open, but will not be served by the #70 Grand MetroBus route on Sunday morning. Passengers will need to board buses at the Central West End MetroLink station from 6 a.m. until 11 a.m.

The following 19 MetroBus routes will be rerouted:

#3 Forest Park Trolley
#4 Natural Bridge
#8 Bates Morganford
#10 Gravois-Lindell
#11 Chippewa
#13 Union
#18 Taylor
#30 Soulard
#32 ML King-Chouteau
#40 Broadway
#41 Lee
#42 Sarah
#70 Grand
#74 Florissant
#80 Park Shaw
#94 Page
#95 Kingshighway
#97 Delmar

The #99 Downtown Trolley will not be affected.

MetroBus riders should allow for extra travel time for their commutes Sunday morning.
