St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - U.S. Marshals and St. Louis police tracked down and arrested a 32-year-old local man accused of robbing and sexually fondling three girls in a north city neighborhood over the summer.
The St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office formally charged Donrico Holmes in August in a 16-count indictment for the incident, which took place on the night of July 23 in the 4400 block of Elmbank.
Three young girls, ages 12, 15 and 17, allegedly encountered Holmes as they were walking home, according to Officer Schron Jackson, a spokeswoman for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. The girls told investigators at the time that Holmes held them at gunpoint and robbed them of their personal property, including cell phones, and then forced the girls to undress while he fondled them and masturbated.
Donrico Holmes was charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of attempted robbery, three counts of sexual abuse, one count of assault, and eight counts of armed criminal action.
Police and U.S. Marshals found Holmes on October 31 at a residence in the 900 block of Canaan and arrested him.
