TISL team learns about inversion.
St. Louis (KSDK) -- All it takes is three minutes and a wall to help relieve holiday stress.
Yoga instructor and co-owner of St. Louis Spinning Julie Funke joined NewsChannel 5's Pat McGonigle, Jennifer Blome and Sara Dayley to get them to stand on their heads and tell them about the benefits of inversion. Meteorologist Bree Smith even joined in from her story at Schnucks.
Funke said the benefits of inversion are that it clams the mind and relieves stress, reduces pain in overworked muscles, strengthens ligaments, can reduce shrinking, improves balance and body awareness, strengthens the core, and enhances the ablity to concentrate and remain focus.
