Arnold, MO (KSDK) - A small fire began in the kitchen Friday morning at the Holy Child School in Arnold.

Ron Harder, a spokesperson for the Rock Community Fire District, says there were no children present since the fire started before school hours. The Holy Child School has decided to call off school today, December 7, so fire investigators from Rock Community have time to determine what caused the fire.

All classes are cancelled for students Kindergarten through 8th grade at Holy Child School in Arnold today, Decemeber 7, and possibly Monday. The school officials say they hope to resume classes Monday, but that will be decided over the weekend.
