North St. Louis fire injures three children

North St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - A one alarm firm injured three children on the 3400 block of Belt on Friday night. 

Shortly after midnight the fire department responded to a call in North St. Louis. Firefighters found and rescued one child, two were injured. The three children were transported to Children's Hospital. One was said to be in critical condition. The other two children are in stable condition. All three children were residents of the same apartment on the upper floor.

When firefighters arrived there was a heavy fire. The fire broke out a residential four family flat, two units were occupied at the time of the fire. The fire damaged the first and second floors. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
