Three in custody after break-in at north city business

St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - Three men are in police custody after they were caught 'redhanded' trying to burglarize a north St. Louis currency exchange business.

Police were notified of a burlgar alarm sounding at the business in the 4500 block of North Kingshighway around 1:55 Monday morning.

An officer on nearby patrol responded and located the suspects in action.  The trio then began to run from officers who gave chase on foot and apprehended all three.

Several pieces of property was recovered and police continue to investigate whether it was taken in the crime.  Warrants are expected to be applied for later today.
