Kaitlin Tetidrick severely injured in rollover collision

Mt. Hope, MO (KSDK) - A young Franklin County woman was seriously injured on New Year's Day, after she lost control of her car and flipped the vehicle into a ditch.

Troopers with the Missouri Highway Patrol tell NewsChannel 5 around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, 18 year old Kaitlin Tetidrick of Union was northbound on Highway 47 south of Yellow Dog Road when she failed to negotiate a curve.

The car left the pavement on the right side of the road, travelled across the oncoming lane and off the highway on the left, where the car crashed through a fence and overturned.

Investigators say the victim was no wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and is hospitalized at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
