President Obama will hold a news conference Monday at 10:15 a.m. CT.

This is the first news conference since Obama nominated his new national security team and tapped Jacob Lew, his current chief of staff, to succeed Timothy Geithner as Treasury secretary.

Obama last took questions from reporters during a formal news conference in November, shortly after winning re-election to a second term.

Next week, Obama will take the oath of office from Chief Justice John Roberts.

Obama will likely discuss upcoming budget battles with Congress over spending, Vice President Biden's gun task force, and issues he'd like to tackle next, such as immigration.
