ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - A St. Louis man has been charged with burglary after leaving his cell phone at the crime scene.

Christopher Lee, 47, has been charged with first-degree burglary, stealing.

Police were called to the 4200 block of Flad Avenue Saturday after the resident reported she spotted a man crawling out of her bedroom window when she returned home.

The resident's friend was sitting in his car outside her home after dropping her off and saw a man fleeing from the home.

The victim discovered a diamond and gold bracelet, worth more than $500, had been stolen from her home.

Officers found a cell phone outside the window the suspect was seen crawling out through. An investigation determined the phone belonged to Lee, and the male friend identified Lee as the man seen running from the home.
