(KSDK Sports) -- The St. Louis Rams added another name their list of potential wide receivers today, and the name brings a storyline with it.
Jeff Fisher has had his share of players who weren't exactly model teammates in the past, so perhaps he believes his experience with Adam (formerly "Pacman") Jones, Albert Haynesworth, Janoris Jenkins and others will help him handle Titus Young.
Fisher and the St. Louis Rams claimed Young off waivers one day after the Detroit Lions cut the former second-round pick, who was a distraction for Jim Schwartz's club last year.
Though Young apparently told his high-school coach he's better than Calvin Johnson, according to the Detroit Free Press, the Rams were the only team to put in a claim for him. Perhaps some teams were scared off by Young's getting into a fight with Lions safety Louis Delmas last spring and, per Schwartz, lining up in the wrong spot intentionally.
Fisher deactivated Jenkins and wide receiver Chris Givens last season when both players missed curfew the night before the game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Fisher also made the players run the steps at Candlestick Park before the game. So expect him to let Young know any shenanigans won't be tolerated.
