ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - A news conference was held Wednesday detailing a sexual abuse lawsuit filed against the YMCA at 1528 Locust Street in downtown St. Louis.
SNAP, the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, hosted the press conference, which detailed alleged sex crimes against two victims that occurred in the 1980s by a swimming instructor/coach at the facility.
The victims were 11 and 12-years-old at the time.
The alleged abuse occurred weekly and lasted for over one year. The victims say the inappropriate activity included graphic sexual conversations, pornography, and more.
NewsChannel 5 received the following statement from the YMCA Wednesday.
