Logos School student brings pocket knife to school in backpack

ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KSDK) - Police have been called after a pocket knife was found in a student's backpack.

Around 9:40 a.m. Thursday a student at Logos School overheard a conversation between two other students about a pocket knife. The student that overheard the conversation told a teacher.

The student with the pocket knife, identified only as a male, was called into the principal's office. Authorities say he said he forgot the pocket knife was in his backpack and surrendered it.

School officials then notified police.

According to their website, Logos School is an independent, alternative therapeutic middle and high school that educates at-risk students.
