(Blues Notes) -- The Blues posted on their website this afternoon, that they have activated Jaroslav Halak from injured reserve and have assigned Jake Allen to the Peoria Rivermen.

Halak, who suffered a groin strain in the Feb. 1 game against Detroit, began taking shots in practice over the weekend. The Blues have determined he's ready to get back into the lineup.

Halak has missed three games with the injury.
