ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Active duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces are now eligible to participate in the Transportation Security Administration's pre-screening program.

The program, which is available at Lambert- St. Louis International Airport, allows eligible passengers to volunteer information about themselves to hasten the screening process at airport checkpoints.

"We have a large military presence in and around St. Louis, and we welcome the opportunity to become the eighth airport in the country to offer this benefit to the men and women who serve their country every day," said TSA Federal Security Director William Switzer.

Service members can also take advantage of TSA pre-screening when flying out of Charlotte Douglas International, Denver International, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International, Honolulu International, Ronald Reagan Washington National, Seattle-Tacoma International and Washington Dulles International airports.
