ELLISVILLE, Mo. (KSDK) - A group of citizens is now forming an organized movement in support of the mayor of Ellisville.
Adam Paul faces impeachment this month. At one point, he was accused of drinking and swearing on the job.
The group has developed the website www.supportmayorpaul.com. The site provides information about the suspension and encourages Ellisville residents to get involved by contacting their councilman.
Tthe group also created an online survey for Ellisville residents to voice their opinion concerning key issues in the community. The online survey can be found at: www.surveymonkey.com/s/ellisvillecitizensurvey.
Last week Paul took a polygraph test at his own expense and passed.
The drinking charges have now been dropped, but he's still accused of over-reaching his authority.
However, his supporters say this is all over a controversial proposal to put a Walmart in Ellisville.
