ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Fire has heavily damaged a north St. Louis business, and forced firefighters to take cover after a portion of the structure collpase.
Firefighters sounded a first alarm as soon as they arrived on the scene in the 1100 block of North Taylor around 4:40 a.m. this morning.
Flames were spreading through the second floor of the brick building, and fire was already through the roof.
After nearly an hour of battling to put the blaze out, a portion of the building collapsed inward. No injuries were reported and a cause for the fire in not known.
