RIVERSIDE, Calif. (KABC/CNN) - A hiker trapped for days on a California mountain may owe his life to a hiker and his dog.
Ramon Llamas made the discovery on Mount Rubidoux in Riverside Monday. He was walking a dirt trail with his dog Molé when he says the animal began pulling him toward some rocks.
"He's just running around, running around and then he started crying (makes noise) and he pulled me over. I said 'what's going on boy?' and he pulled me over and he showed me what it was," said Llamas.
He said the hiker told him he had been trapped for four days with no food or water.
Authorities say the man got stuck after he slipped and fell into a crack between some rocks.
The hiker was taken to the hospital for treatment.
