JENNINGS, Mo. (KSDK) - Charges have been filed against a man who turned himself in after a murder in Jennings, Mo.
Terrance A. Duff, 40, has been charged with first-degree murder, first-degree burglary, and one count of armed criminal action.
Officers responded to the home in the 7000 block of Florence Place just before 2 a.m. and found 32-year-old Antoinetta M. Davis dead inside from a gunshot wound.
Several children were located inside the residence according to police. None of the children were hurt, and some may have witnessed the crime.
Officials say some of the six children inside the home ran from the scene to the nearby Jennings Police Department seeking help.
Authorities had issued an 'all points bulletin' for Duff. Police say he fled the scene in a vehicle.
Police say Duff, Davis' ex-boyfriend and father of some of the children inside the home, turned himself in at Justice Services in Clayton around 5 a.m.
A motive for the crime has not been disclosed.
