St. Louis County, Mo. (KSDK) - A South County principal and school counselor were duct taped to their gymnasium wall.
Kennerly Elementary students took turns bringing up a piece of duct tape to put on them while the adults stood on stools. After the students were finished, the stools were taken away and the counselor and principal were suspended in the air for a few seconds.
Principal Dr. Todd Morgan said he wanted to come up with a fun way to get kids excited about the annual state assessments, so he posted a question on his school's Facebook page asking kids and their parents to weigh in with ideas. The duct-tape stunt was among those suggestions.
Lindbergh's MAP testing window is April 15-May 10 for students in grades 3-8.
