ST. PETERS, Mo. (KSDK) - A flashing traffic signal could cause delays in St. Peters over the next few days.

The light on Salt Lick Road, south of Interstate 70 near Timberbrook Drive has malfunctioned due to a weather-related surge Tuesday.

Traffic in all directions will be required to stop until weather allows repairs to be made.

The surge also affected the central County Fire and Rescue fire station on Salt Lake Road near Timberbrook Drive. The light usually flashes green, turning red when firefighters are responding to a call. It will flash yellow until repairs are made.
