ST. CHARLES COUNTY (KSDK) - The St. Charles Cyber Crimes Unit is investigating a threat at two parish schools and one public school.
It's a threat that shut down the parish schools Friday.
Classes were in session at West Middle School as usual, but with extra security.
Classrooms were empty at Immaculate Conception School in Dardenne Prairie and Assumption School in O'Fallon.
Authorities say a parent from Immaculate Conception called police after a bomb threat was discovered on social media.
Police searched the two Catholic schools and West Middle Thursday night and did not find bombs or anything else suspicious.
There are no suspects.
The two catholic schools will reopen for classes on Monday.
