Illinois Department of Transportation reopens some roads after flood water recedes

COLLINSVILLE, Ill. (KSDK) - The Illinois Department of Transportation announced Tuesday IL 100 at Joe Page Bridge in Calhoun County, Il 3 in Grafton, and IL 3 at Rockwood in Randolph County have reopened to traffic.

The following roads remain closed due to flooding: the Brussels Ferry, IL 100 in Grafton between IL 16 and IL 3 in Jersey County, IL Route 100 from Hardin through Pearl in Calhoun County, Kaskaskia Street in Chester, and the IL 3 bypass in Randolph County. Detours are posted in each area to circumvent the closures.
