LADUE, Mo. (KSDK) - St. Louis Rams tackle Rodger Saffold will present Ladue Middle School students with two awards next week for reaching special physical fitness achievements.

Sixth-graders at Ladue Middle School won the NFL Play 60 Challenge, a program designed to encourage kids to become and remain physically active. The students won by logging more minutes of collective physical activity than any other school in their group. The program is co-sponsored by the NFL and the American Heart Association.

Saffold will also notify the schools at large for being named a Character Fitness Model School. That honor recognizes schools that have achieved a mastery rating in health and nutrition efforts, character development and physical exercise. The St. Louis Rams and CHARACTERplus co-sponsor the program.
