ELLISVILLE, Ill (KSDK) - A man who police said is considered armed and dangerous is wanted following a home invasion and burglary in Ellisville.
Ellisville police said St. Louis County prosecutors charged Tyson D. McGuire with burglary, stealing and kidnapping.
McGuire is accused of posing as a UPS courier to force his way into an Ellisville home on April 27. He allegedly taped the victim to her stove. He searched the home for money and jewelry.
The victim was able to chew through the tape to free herself and call police. She was not injured.
Police said McGuire is 37 years old. He is 6'1" and weighs 165 pounds. He also uses the alias DeAndre Akens. His last known address is in the 4900 block of Macklind Avenue. McGuire is known to carry a gun.
