(KSDK Sports) -- You can scratch Blues forward Adam Cracknell off the list of young players who will not be returning to the organization next season. The Blues announced today they have re-signed Cracknell to a one-year contract.
Cracknell, 27, dressed in 20 games for the Blues this past season posting six points including two goals and four assists to go along with a +3 rating. His promotion from Peoria during the push to make the playoffs appeared to give the team a well needed spark.
In addition, the 6'2, 210-pound forward appeared in 49 games for the Blues' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, Peoria Rivermen, ranking third on the club with 33 points (17 goals, 16 assists).
Overall, Cracknell has appeared in three National Hockey League (NHL) seasons totaling 14 points including six goals and eight assists in 46 career games.
The Prince Albert, Saskatchewan native was originally signed by the Blues as a free agent on July 23, 2009.
