ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - City of St. Louis leaders are holding closed door talks to discuss how to save some of the city's historic buildings.

The meeting was called last week as crews began tearing down the Cupples 7 building at 11th and Spruce streets.

Mayor Francis Slay wants to make sure the same thing doesn't happen to other historic properties that have fallen into disrepair.

NewsChannel 5 is told everything will be on the table.
