ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KSDK) - The Mehlville School Board held an emergency meeting and then went into a closed session Wednesday evening.
The board met to discuss the lawsuit some Riverview Gardens parents are threatening to file because their children applied to Mehlville, but were denied.
Mehlville has said it is full, and can't accept any more than about 200 students from Riverview Gardens
The group Children's Education Alliance of Missouri says if Mehlville doesn't agree to accept more students by 3 p.m. Thursday it will sue and ask a judge to force the district to open space.
The board met to discuss possible litigation, but made no comment, no statement, and adjourned after meeting for approximately 2.5 hours.
