ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Roll call was held in an unusual place for more than a dozen St. Louis police officers Tuesday morning.
Officers participating in the community outreach initiative attended roll call in the 4200 block of West Evans. Workers from various city departments were also involved.
From 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. they went door-to-door, talked with residents, and passed out information about CrimeStoppers.
Vacant buildings were secured, streets were cleaned and other quality of life and crime issues were addressed.
