JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KSDK) - The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services says another case of Cyclospora has been confirmed in Missouri.
The latest case was reported to the department by a health provider in the Kansas City area, bringing the total number of cases in the state to five. Previous cases were reported in Jackson County, Taney County, Miller County, and another in the Kansas City area.
The health department is working with the Centers for Disease Control and other agencies to determine the cause of the cases, and if they are related.
