SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) - A Springfield woman could face up to 15 years in prison after being convicted of possessing methamphetamine that she tried to stash in the back seat of a police patrol car.
The Springfield News-Leader reports 47-year-old Rhonda Casteel was arrested in September 2011 on an unrelated charge when she was placed into the car and tried to hide some meth there.
A Greene County jury deliberated for about an hour Monday before finding her guilty of possession. She is scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 31.
