KSDK - The school year is just starting and you might already be struggling to decide what to put in your child's lunchbox.
That's why Heidi Glaus stopped by Whole Foods Market to get some new and healthy ideas.
Jessica Seratti suggests mixing things up a bit and serving a peanut butter and banana sandwich or little cucumber sandwiches stuffed with cream cheese.
Seratti also shared a recipe for a Chocolate-Almond Banana Smoothie that might actually get your child to eat kale.
1 banana, sliced and frozen
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tablespoon unsweetened almond butter
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1 leaf of kale
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
