ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Syrian-Americans in St. Louis were watching President Obama's speech closely Tuesday night wanting to hear something that could give them hope for their homeland.
The individuals News Channel 5 spoke to agree; they want the international community to intervene in Syria and they want the U.S. to take the lead.
From the start of President Obama's speech on Syria it was clear Dr. Omar Almousalli and Sarah Kuziez wanted specifics on how the U.S. might militarily intervene in that country's civil war. But they did not get the details they wanted.
