ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KSDK) - Officials have closed New Town Boulevard after a jet of water flew into the air near the roadway at the intersection with Fountain Lakes Boulevard.
The City's water division has been working on the situation since Tuesday morning and found a faulty six-inch valve, according to a city official. The valve's bolts deteriorated from soil corrosion.
A city official confirmed the repairs have been finished, and the water system should be fully restored by 5 p.m.
